Chuck & Paula Beehner > 8-13-2009… Take The Stairs.

I work out at the Chico Airport Complex, a very complex place. There is a building that has been vacant now (well, more than one) for some time now. I cannot say this is a sign of the economy as this building has been empty long before that. Koret, a distributor of apparel was a casualty of corporate consolidation long before the economic down turn. This is one of many shots I took today that I feel turned out.

While this might not express the emptiness of the building, I thought it was a cool shot. Maybe the odd angle suggests some peril…some anxiety…in climbing these stairs...

Chuck & Paula Beehner > 8-17-2009… Wheel Of The Past.

Over at friends for a get together, our boys our heading off to college…the kids and parents. Not sure what they were doing with an old wheelbarrow in the back yard, but there it was…just beggin’ for a shot. This is the center of the wheel.

Okay, I’ll never look at a headlight the same…

P.S. Not a collage...
Chuck & Paula Beehner > 7-28-2009… The Night Rocks!!

Another solar light shot… The rocks under one light, used this one after many failed attempts at other stuff tonight… Used a little remove distortion to gain some and then blue on the black and white.
Chuck & Paula Beehner > 10-18-2009...Think this captures a true fall sunset! with no pp!
Chuck & Paula Beehner > 7-1-2009... Summer Sleep

Well, I got the time to take some shots today and in an effort to keep dailys daily... This is Summer, one of my son's yellow labs. She was fixed today. She came by our house for a while... We don't spoil our grandkids... I had nothing to do with that pillow...

I often play around with the Photoshop clarity setting but have not been happy with what I see when using the "fuzzy" side. So tonight I asked my wife what she thought of using it on this shot. As you can see she did like it.
Chuck & Paula Beehner > 10-31-2009… Self Portrait…

Well, we have seen so many self portraits done here on the dailies, Paula and I thought we would do one too. Forgot…it is Halloween…wait a minute…is that really us? Collaborative effort by both of us.

P.S. Paula is the good looking one up front...
Chuck & Paula Beehner > 8-3-2009… Shadow of the Grass.

Went back to the old house I took pictures of before for some evening shots today, this was on the porch.
