DailyPhotos > Chuck & Paula Beehner  > Other > Give Us Our Daily Beans...
While I started doing this on my own, Paula has joined me… We now each post a picture every other day (or so). Still we try to keep them current, within the week of posting. Share a shot a day... The goal for anyone here should be to use this opportunity to make improvements in your photography with each daily; that is ours. We are enjoying our time in this community, and appreciate all the comments we are getting. I must say Paula is much better with commenting than I… As this gallery gets larger (older) we will be moving pictures into other galleries as appropriate, please feel free to view our work throughout this site.

Chuck & Paula Beehner > 9-8-2009… Sunset Drive (by Paula)

This picture was taken during a stop to check out the load in the back of the truck, if I was asked by the Highway Patrol, of the sunset over the East Humboldt Range in Nevada on our way to Salt Lake City for the night.

I am sorry for not explaining the reason for not being able to post …nothing wrong, just away from the computer and internet.

I will be back posting the days I missed just to keep my dailies all there. I will only back post pictures taken on that day.

Well, the reason we have been off line: we drove our youngest son, Alex, to Johnson and Wales University in Denver, CO. A whirl-wind trip not allowing for the stops I really wanted for picture taking, dang… Two days to drive there, two days to drive back, and two days there. At least for two days we could get in some picture taking… More of these will follow and once I have the pictures done I’ll set up a gallery for them.
Chuck & Paula Beehner > 9-1-2009… Welcome September…

Well, here is another shot of the orchid from a couple of days ago. Hopefully they will be around for a while and you will see more. This one has bloomed pretty much every year since we got it…

Busy day today…you may not see any dailies for a short time…a lot going on…

Thank you all for your many comments, will try to get back to you all in a while.
Chuck & Paula Beehner > 8-31-2009... Good By August.

An Alder leaf on the patio...the shadows of the tree is being cast upon it... Let’s just say, good by August...
Chuck & Paula Beehner > 8-30-2009… Only In The AM…

An old AM only radio still hangin’ around the dash of a ‘70s Scout… I wonder if it still works? Would need to fight off the spiders to find out…
Chuck & Paula Beehner > 8-29-2009... Disco

This is a shot of the inside of an orchid bloom.
Chuck & Paula Beehner > 8-28-2009… Finally They Have The Guts…

Well it has been a long time… The CEO of the company I work(ed) for, Aero Union Corporation, died about 6 months ago. The new CEO, one of the owners that took control, has really mixed things up. Those that had for years held the company together thru tough times have been sent to the archives while those that did nothing have been elevated to power. What a shame, a real shame…

While I was one that kept a major program on track, once finalized, I was branded and sent off to the wasteland…

This shot taken about the time this transition started does capture the feeling of a company going down in flames… It appears it is… The management team being propelled forward manages in a bubble and perpetuates lies and deceit thou ought the company. It starts at the top with an attorney that obviously has no self esteem. He promotes those below him that he feels are truly beneath him… They in turn promote those they feel are beneath them, and so on, and so on… The spiral has begun… Those that can manage are being replaced with those that have no clue…

I am sorry if this presentation is too cynical, it is the feeling of the day as I was terminated today. I feel good about my abilities and will move on. This day has been building for quite some time and is not a surprise at all.
Chuck & Paula Beehner > 8-27-2009… The Anemone.

From a ways back yes, but sharing today…
Chuck & Paula Beehner > 8-26-2009… Pool Fishing

Another shot from this past weekend by the pool. This is a metal fish, a candle holder…
Chuck & Paula Beehner > 8-25-2009… Happy Anniversary!!!

Okay, what does this picture have to do with an anniversary you ask? Well, really nothing…but today is our 25th wedding anniversary… Went to dinner of course and do you think we had time to go take pictures…no… This one is from Paula’s walk with the dog yesterday. Is she good or what!!
