8-11-2011... It is always greener on the other side...
8-9-2011… Running the Stone… Paula and I went up into the foothills outside Chico this past Sunday. We came across a cemetery there. According to the historic markers, graves here date as far back as the 1860’s when gold mining was being done in the canyon. It continues to be used to this date. We will both have posts from this spot, I am sure. Some of the stones were handmade, even one of wood. Some of them had toys around them. While I was trying to capture a train and Santa at the bottom of one, I looked up. This is what I saw, this toy car with Goofy hanging on… I had to. NOTE: These were not the graves of children as one would think...
